The project website www.achieveability.org.uk went live in April 2005 and is hosted by the British Dyslexia Association. The site has a ground breaking new feature the Textic Toolbar, this enables users to completely change the look of web pages making them more accessible.
The site is regularly updated with information for practitioners, students and learners and includes login areas where there is access to further relevant information for those involved in the project. The three forums allow users to ask questions, share experiences and discuss best practice.
There is also ‘Message from America’ an AchieveAbility ambassador’s weblog contrasting his experiences as a student with SpLD in the United States and the United Kingdom.
