Training Programme for staff in Schools and Colleges

AchieveAbility has been working with AimHigher London East Thames Gateway and AimHigher London South partnerships to provide a series of CPD sessions for teachers in Schools and Colleges.

The LETG is part of the national Aimhigher programme funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) to encourage students from under-represented groups to progress to higher education. Aimhigher has targeted those with little or no family experience of higher education often from areas with high levels of economic deprivation.

The LETG Partnership worked to ensure that all young people in East London are given the inspiration, information, support and opportunity to progress to higher education.
